Surrounded by the sea and mountains of Table Mountain National Park, The View Sunnycove offers seven luxury self-catering units right on the ocean's edge. All apartments are north facing which affords all-day sun on the decks and in the gardens, lounges and main bedrooms.

You couldn't be better positioned to enjoy the magnificent mountain and sea views of Cape Town's False Bay. Each apartment offers either a private garden or a wooden deck with magnificent views of the ocean, all protected from the wind. Seasonal whale viewing is particularly good from the apartments.

We have lock-up parking facilities and our concierges are on duty from 6 pm to 6 am daily; they will see you to your apartment and are able to assist you if management is not on site. Our on-site team are able to assist with information and bookings for restaurants and the many activities in and around Cape Town. We offer complimentary Wi-Fi to all guests. Lovely breakfast baskets are available on request at an extra charge and must be ordered 24 hours in advance.

The white sandy beaches of Fish Hoek are a short walk along the rock path from the apartments. Try exploring by train; the railway line runs along the coast, right on the water's edge all the way from Muizenberg to Simon's Town. Clovelly Golf Course is only a 10-minute drive away, and Lakeside Golf Course is 15 minutes away.

We really enjoyed our short stay at the View. The views across the bay were amazing and it is the perfect place for whale watching.

Beautiful location, but cleanliness an issue by

This is our 5th visit to this facility but the first since it changed from Tudor House to The View. We have had many wonderful experiences and memories and were really looking forward to our vacation. The location and view was wonderful as ever. However, we were booked into unit 4 that is in need of a renovation that we understand many of the other units have already undergone. Renovation aside, general cleanliness is a bigger problem even though the cleaning staff is very friendly and the unit were serviced over weekend as well. The extractor fan, kettle, drawers and fridge/ freezer needs a good cleaning and placemats and table runners have not been washed in quite a while by the look of it. Carpet and sofas in living area needs a good cleaning. Tops of cupboards is bedrooms very dusty and bedding was not properly ironed on arrival. Majority of blinds need fixing or replacement and cracked windows does not do the unit justice. Would like to return because the location is fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful, but I would avoid unit 4 and the cleaning services need to up their game.
