Thobeka Lodge is a very rustic bush Lodge located in Kosi Bay, situated close to beautiful beaches, game parks and lakes.

This lodge offers self-catering accommodation and camping in true African style. There are dormitories, twin, double, and family rooms and a cottage. Each room is connected by a wooden walkway that leads to fully fitted kitchens, hot showers and toilets, and a swimming pool.

Guests can socialise in the bar area or lounge by the swimming pool. The fish from Kosi Bay Mouth can be cooked over the open fire and in the winter around the boma. Other activities include cruises, snorkelling and fishing.

Perfect stop-over by

The location of Thobeka is perfect for an easy stop-over to Mozambique. They have lovely communal facilities and our kids really enjoyed the wooden walkways and rustic accommodation. The hosts were extremely friendly and the whole place has a wonderful vacation vibe. I would definitely recommend it to a group (or individuals) looking for a comfortable stop.

I loved my breakaway to Thobeka's. It is quite and serene with clean convenient facilities. The hosts went out of their way to make my stay unforgettable. They offer a variety of excursions. The tour guides (keeping it in the family) are very knowledgeable about the area, it's plants and the activities.
