Close to High way, welcoming, neat and comfortable.

Expansive Karoo charm by

Loved the mix of old and new decor, and the generous size of the rooms and bathrooms. Super comfy beds with crisp, clean linen that smells amazing; large and generous shower; lovely bath products; everything spotlessly clean. The only drawback was that our room was on the street, and we were woken up a couple of times by cars driving past playing loud music. So try to get a room on the other side of the house as it will be more peaceful. Richmond itself has lots to offer, from fabulous book shops to the incredible MAP gallery. Vetmuis restaurant also wonderful. We had a wonderful overnight stay and will certainly recommend the town and Three Birds to anyone looking for something a bit out of the ordinary.

I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was perfect. If I have to make a suggestion - a mug for the morning coffee! We do you get your towels? I also want some! We also had a very pleasant meal at the Vetmuis.

Convenient halfway stop between Cape Town and Johannesburg by

Large bedroom with comfortable king size bed and en suite bathroom was just what I needed after a long day on the road. Service was great and I was even contacted while still on the road to find out what I wanted for supper. Highly recommended.
