Tradouw Guest House a genuine old karoo building dating back to 1890 is situated in the quaint little village of Barrydale. Once the local general dealer, the guest house comprises of two twin bedded rooms, two double bedded rooms and two queen bedded rooms. The rooms are outside with private entrances opening onto a vine covered courtyard or onto the large garden.
All of the rooms feature shower en suite bathrooms, fans, heaters and tea and coffee facilities. The shop is now a communal lounge and dining room with fireplace, and a private licensed bar for the guests called "McCavity's". There are large gardens with abundant birdlife and a vine covered courtyard to relax under. Although there is no swimming pool, guests can enjoy the stunning rock pools at the Tradouw Pass, a short drive from the guest house.
Barrydale has an abundance of attractions surrounding it, such as the Warmwaterberg Hot Springs, the Bontebok National Park, Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, and the Little Karoo Wine Route. Please note that the rates quoted are for bed only. An optional breakfast menu is available. Please note that we do not provide self catering facilties.
