Tswana Safaris CampSwartwater, Limpopo, South Africa Selfsorg | (POA) |
Enjoy exclusive use of 8,000 hectares of unspoiled Botswana bushveld! Tswana Safaris Camp offers self-catering accommodation located in a remote private conservancy, the estate includes 7 kilometres of Limpopo river frontage fringed by magnificent, pristine riparian forest; as well as the seasonal Suka river.
There is an abundance of plains game and an estimated 300 bird species, including regular sightings of Pels Fishing Owl and some spectacular raptors. Hippos and crocodiles are permanent inhabitants of the Limpopo.
The camp is in a remote area making GPS and staying on the established roads essential. There is no Wi-Fi and very limited cellphone reception, so enjoy a digital detox for a few days. Activities on offer include game viewing, birding, biking, fishing and (on request) accompanied walks.
The camp is fully serviced by two to three staff members and is located on the banks of the beautiful Suka river. It includes five spacious double safari tents with en-suite bathrooms, a boma and a separate kitchen. The boma includes a bar; with large fridge, dining; equipped with tableware and lounge areas. The kitchen is also fully equipped. The camp has solar power, and water is from our own borehole and drinkable. Hot water is supplied by donkey boilers and we have flush toilets.
The property is perimeter fenced with no internal fencing, allowing the animals to roam freely over the whole area. Your group will have exclusive access to the whole property.
