Visiting Clanwilliam without staying in Tuis Huis is like Christmas without gifts. If you want to experience the "true" Clanwilliam then stay at Tuis Huis! We will be back.

Not impressed by

No safe parking for my car. Not private toilet in bedroom is inconvenient. On the upside, place was clean and the bed comfy.



Definitely not what we expected for R800 a night!  Bathroom is a disaster.  TV didn't work - only one channel without sound! The room we slept in was not shown on the pictures.

We were misled by

The accommodation was offered as cottage 1 or cottage 2. In fact they were 2 bedrooms. One had no catering equipment at all, and no direct access to the street. The other had a shower that sprayed onto the toilet, and catering equipment was a bar frig on a tea trolley, some crockery on the bar frig, and an old TV that did not work. The entrance in the picture is into the rest of the house, where the owner stays. we feel deceived by the advert.Not worth the R800 per night.
