Ukuphumula Lodge is situated on a farm between the towns of Bergville and Ladysmith, and offers a self-catering getaway for couples and groups.

The accommodation on the farm comprises of individually decorated guest rooms, with a variety of layouts to cater for guests. The lodge has two well-equipped kitchens, two lounge areas with satellite television, and an entertainment room. The farm also offers guests braai facilities, a swimming pool, and parking on the premises.

Guests can enjoy many great attractions in and around the area, including the The Nambiti Game Reserve, the Kwa Cheetah Breeding Project and the Ladysmith Siege Museum.

A tranquil haven by

We had a wonderful stay at Ukuphumula Lodge.  The lodge itself was very spacious and beautifully decorated, providing us with all the facilities we could need in a self-catering establishment.  Nicolene was a fantastic host and was happy to help with anything we needed.  Definitely the place to stay in the area.

Homely by

I would say that we really enjoyed the overall stay at Ukuphumula Lodge. It has a nice homely feel, the staff was good and we will most definitely come again.

Disappointed by

Hope this accommodation will improve when the building and renovation of the site is finished. The "Lodge" still has the looks of a building site. The flat we stayed lacked so many essentials (no hangars in wardrobes, no stools for kitchen bar so no place to eat indoors in rainy weather). The bathrooms were grubby, the windows filthy. More suitable for large groups than tourists passing by.
