Private Jacuzzi. This newly renovated cottage is on Uvongo River 600m from Uvongo Beach. It has amazing views and bird life, is very private for that special get away. There is a pool on the property. The amazing deck has a gas braai for guests. The cottage is fully equipped for self catering. TV in lounge and bedroom with OVHD, bring your DSTV decoder and card if you require. Secure property. Fur babies are welcome. Special requests are attended to for that special occasion. Breakfast is offered and served on the deck at a time that suits guests. Guests needs are our primary concern.


The cottage has one bedroom which is equipped with a queen size bed on suit bathroom. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge that can accommodate two guests. The kitchen is fully equipped and the cottage is fitted with a private Jacuzzi. Pets are welcome and the accommodation is wheelchair friendly. There is a swimming pool on premises, airport shuttle as well as laundry facilities.


Attractions in and around Uvongo include St Michaels On Sea Beach, Stephward Estate Exotic Nursery, Uvongo Beach, Uvongo Flea Market, and Wild 5 Adventures.

Oh wow what a wonderful place to stay at. I really recommend anyone to stay here anytime.....We would have stayed longer if we could. We enjoyed every moment of it and it's so peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. Bernadine the Hostess will see us for sure again......Thank you very much for everything and the hospitality!!!

I loved the layout of the cottage , the modern kitchen & furniture & the jacuzzi , it has beautiful views overlooking the balcony.

Uvongo Beach Cottage ( no seaview) by

1.Private, ideal for couples, not for family with kids, as there are no activities/play area for kids.

2. Curtains or blinds recommended for the lounge area, as well as folding doors should be installed in the e-suite

3. Although pet friendly, garden needs to be cleaned daily of pet droppings, as guests cannot walk freely on the grassy patches.

4. Unit is fitted with modern furniture, but lacks an electric kettle. Some of us are not used to boil water on the gas stove

5. Guest should be advised that the unit comes with a pre-paid electricity meter, and the owner should have electricity vouchers available to purchase on site, and not for the guest to drive to the nearest shop to purchase vouchers. Also guests should be advised how to de-activate the alarm on the electricity meter when the supply is low. I had to google and found out that the overide code is 812 &enter.

6. Overall, it was a quiet atmosphere, but can get other better places for the price we paid

7. Beach is not a walking distance. U have to drive a few minutes to get there

The cottage is 600m from the beach which is walking distance. It is exactly 6 blocks depends on person to person if you like a walk.

Due to Eskom load shedding we have chosen to go with an kettle that can be used on gas stove. To ensure guests have always got boiling water.

The loung area has cottage pain sliding doors overlooking the river and bird life for this reason there is no blind obscuring the beautiful scenery.

I will definitely look at sliding door for on suit bathroom. Unfortunately my gardener has been off ill

The unit is beautiful and the owner is extremely caring and available. The Jacuzzi is amazing. I would suggest a curtain or door to the en-suite but overall a great place. We will definitely be back.
