Victoria Place is a Victorian-style theme established exclusively for the pleasure of our guests. Victorian charm and character add to the sense of peace and relaxation with extreme comfort and warm hospitality. Enjoy the special ambiance created by the owners, Jack and Eileen, and the colourful Victorian Gardens.

We offer comfortable and spacious units, ideal for two or three guests. Polokwane, the capital of the Limpopo Province and formerly known as Pietersburg, is the cultural hub of the region halfway between Pretoria and the Zimbabwean border.

The city's museum is home to the Hugh Exton Photographic Museum with a collection of over 22000 glass negatives that capture the initial five years of the city on celluloid. There is also an art gallery in the Library Gardens building right in the centre of town that definitely is worth a visit. The Savannah Centre, with its wide offering of shops and relatively peaceful atmosphere, is a great pit stop to stock up on essentials or for a bite to eat.

Delightful surprise by

We stayed in Unit 4. This is a spacious, well appointed and very comfortable semi detached cottage. The bedroom had a queen sized bed with good quality bed linen that was freshly laundered and inviting. The bathroom was large and had an equally large shower with lots of hot water. The kitchenette has a small fridge and a microwave and is more than adequately furnished for self catering also with good quality kitchenware. Victoria Place is in a quiet yet central suburb and the gardens were a particular delight. The overall impression is one of care - neat, clean and charming. An added benefit is the free wi-fi.
