Located in Swakopmund, with its fascinating German architecture, historical buildings and warm people, Villa Wiese stands out as a charming 100-year-old building that we converted into a cosy backpackers lodge.
At Villa Wiese we offer more than just quality accommodation, we will ensure that you receive that extra personal touch and local flavour. We are centrally situated and within walking distance from town, restaurants and the main beach.
Once inside, enormous wooden beams support the gothic ceilings of the double volume dining room, where your tasty breakfast awaits you in the mornings. Head upstairs to our licensed pub with an excellent choice of wines and warm atmosphere, where you can sit down and quench your thirst with an icy-cold beer or your choice of drink and catch up with events on our real world TV on the big screen.
While we cater for backpackers, we also offer double, twin and family rooms. Some of the room are en-suite and come with fresh clean linen, towels and a snugly duvet. The dorm rooms each contain four or five beds and share the use of a bathroom.
We do not serve dinner or lunch but we would assist you in finding a restaurant. If you prefer to prepare your own food you are welcome to use our self-catering kitchen. We offer a choice of continental breakfast or cooked breakfast apart from the essential freshly brewed coffee, tea, toast and a variety of spreads.
