A WATERSIDE LODGE B&B RESENSIES (93 %) Fantastic Stay by Michelle Schnugh, South Africa 10 July 2006 We had a 2 night stay at Waterside Lodge during the Knysna Oyster Festival. The hospitality that we received from Michael was superb! We stayed in the Sunbird Room (Honeymoon Suite) and need to say that we were very impressed with the room and décor. We had a lovely view of the garden and lagoon from our balcony. Each morning we had a magnificent breakfast with fruit followed by a full English Breakfast. A choice of cereal's, yogurt, cheese and fruit juices ? perfect to get you ready for your day.. Michael assisted us with dinner suggestions and places to visit, nothing was too much trouble! We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend this establishment. fantastic by Daniel Potgieter, South Africa 04 September 2006 It was a great atmosphere. Kobus and Michael were great hosts. The food was great. I really had a wondeful stay, very relaxing and a lot to do. Relaxing stop over by June October, South Africa 23 July 2015 What a beautiful spot to spend a night. Relaxing and tranquil. The hostess is delightful. Will be back. Value for money. Comfortable Bed by Amor Setter 01 May 2017 Very nice accommodation although a bit expensive for what you get. Was warmly welcomed, although not shown around the room so didn't know there was a bar fridge in the room which I felt could have been better stocked. Some of the windows couldn't close properly so I felt a bit nervous leaving my bags in the room while I was out in the evening. There are dogs on the property so this might not be the place for you if you are not okay with dogs, as they are quite boisterous and inquisitive when you first arrive. Breakfast was okay although their fruit/cereal table was very sparse. The large bed was very comfortable and had a huge mozzie net. Also a lovely deep and very large tub for soaking as well as a shower. Coffee/tea facilities in the room is always welcome if you feel like a late night cup of tea or need to wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee so I was very happy they offered that. Pretty garden with lovely view of the lagoon opposite. Everything by Tony Gray 09 May 2018 I have over the years stayed in many B&Bs and this rates as one of the best from the moment we arrived to when we left.
I will certainly refer the establishment to my friends A WATERSIDE LODGE B&B LIGGING
