Waterwoods is situated on a farm just outside of Nottingham Road where guests can enjoy the beautiful scenery in comfort. Waterwoods offers seven well appointed Self Catering Cottages, a Granny Rondavel and five Barn Suites. The cottages are all equipped with electric blankets and either a heater or a fireplace for the snowy winter months. Except for the Barn Suites, the cottages are all self-catering with fully equipped kitchens and braai facilities. They are not equipped with TV's. The farm has 24-hour security to ensure your piece of mind. The farm boasts a dam, a river and a wooded hill that affords guests excellent opportunities for hiking and mountain biking. The Midlands is a beautiful area with wonderful scenic drives and places to enjoy walks or cycling. The area is known for its fly fishing opportunities. The area is bustling craft shopping, a museum, , and a number of health hydros.

The cottages are beautifully furnished and comfortable.We loved the ambiance and peaceful enviroment with the rescue animals in the fields. Highly recommended for a stay. The self catering kitchen is more than adequately equipped. We received a very warm welcome from the owner. I'd imagine the savings between a premium brand and a 'cheap' brand must be negligible??? By the morning we had used our quota of coffee and were fortunate enough to have A teabag each :) Otherwise the place is lovely. We enjoyed interacting with your friendly horse by Suleiman Saber 23 July 2018 There was no welcome or curtesy visit to us by anyone at the establishment.we were met at the gate by the Security guard who handed us the keys to our units.we saw whom we assume to be the manageress of the place on her golf cart the next morning.she gave us a wave and that was it.no greeting,welcome or interest in us whatsoever.the weather was cold but the welcome was colder.similarly when we left,we handed the keys to the security and left.nottingham road,we've stayed a few times before,is noted for its warmth and hospitality and also noted for the small touches that make one feel at home.
