Nice staff! Disappointing stay by Elise Steyn, South Africa 25 July 2016 We booked our stay at this B&B because of the 4star grading. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We were on our way from Darling and travelling in the Karoo when we were informed via email that there is a problem with our room and if we they could book us in at another B&B...we agreed. We then arrived at the alternative B&B and found that: 1. it smelled of tobacco smoke. 2. it was next to a busy hair dressing salon which shared rooms if the same house and 3..our room's view was the parking lot...nothing of the 4Star we had hoped for. We then contacted the receptionist and conveyed our unhappiness ....she then miraculously found a room in the original B&B....small and stil not 4 star...we had to ask for an extra blanket and pillows...no hand towels either....the '4star' pillows were 2 cheap flat pillows fitted in one pillow case!At breakfast which was till 09:00....we arrived at 08.30, the buffet was basically empty...a half piece of french toast was left....when I asked if more french toast will be laid out...the answer was no...only after.I stated that we pay for the breakfast which was still supposed to be served till 9 o' clock, did the cook offer to make more. I asked for hot milk and it was brought in a chipped mug, which spilled as I tried to pour it...a milk jug would have done the job... if the waiters were well trained for a 4 star B&B...they would have known better.
Sadly I would not recommend this B&B.
Weekand Away by Denise Reddy 16 April 2018 1. I am proud to say that from the time of arrival, our experience was just fantastic.
We arrived early and was settled in in minutes.
The receptionist is a wonderful friendly and very helpful lady.
Not forgetting what a beaut!!!! I, she made us feel so welcomed and so at home.
The rooms was spotless clean, and the each room was unique with its own theme Décor.
The complimentary tea/Coffee plus luxury Latte in abundance, I cant explain their generosity was overwhelming.
There is a gym/ heated pool and a sauna, unfortunately we didn't get to use those facilities, only the gym yesterday morning.
the staff are very friendly and helpful as well.
I would highly recommend West Street Inn, it is a 5 ***** accommodation for a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. WEST STREET INN - ERMELO LIGGING
