Wheatlands Country House, built in 1912, is a five-bedroom guest house set on a beautiful Karoo working mohair and wool farm in the heart of the Eastern Cape. We are just 50 km south of the attractive town of Graaff-Reinet.

The house boasts high-pressed ceilings, wood-panelled walls, hand-crafted stained glass windows, book-lined corridors and antiques that have been collected through the generations. Exceptionally comfortable accommodation is provided in large, antique-furnished rooms and delicious food is served in the sizeable dining room.

Snuggle up in the corner with a book and enjoy the house's peaceful atmosphere or go for a walk in the veld and appreciate the natural beauty of your surroundings.

I cannot find anything that could be improved except for the condition of the road to the guest house which is something beyond the control of the hosts.
