The accommodation was of a good quality and very comfortable. The environment is beautiful - I would rate this as one of the prettiest locations in and around Oudtshoorn. One is free to watch all wildlife and get around as if home. The food was great and the room a very pleasant and comfortable one. Everybody was really friendly and helpful. Great value for money ! Old Mill Cottage by Lindsey Dallas Orr, South Africa 02 May 2016 Not good!! On arrival we found a very dark double bedroom allocated to us which was not self catering as requested. The bathroom towels were dirty and stained and needed replacing which the management did on request. The linen was certainly not up to standard although clean. The Breakfast was very mediocre for the standard that we are used to . My honest opinion is that it needs capital put back into a very old establishment to upgrade it to more modern standards Lovely farm experience by Shani Botha 26 December 2017 We enjoyed every minute of our stay on this family farm. There are fishing ponds, ostriches, hiking trails, pony and bunny play park, a river, etc. Situated outside Oudshoorn and almost at the foot of the Swartberge. This made for a beautiful view and relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has amazing food. Owners and staff were very friendly and added to the farming experince.
