Swartvlei Equestrian Estate is a Guest Farm situated 15km from Sedgefield. We have five self-catering cottages and a manor house. We have a swimming pool area, tennis court, clubhouse and conference room on site. Meal options are available on request. Please note it is a gravel road (in a good condition) to the farm. All cottages have a private bathroom with a shower and bath, an equipped kitchenette, flat screen TV with satellite channels and Wi-Fi. The main house has three bedrooms, the main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, flat TV with satellite channels. The other two bedrooms have a sharing en-suite bathroom. There are two dining rooms, an equipped TV room, lounge area with a indoor fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony overseeing the beautiful surrounding area and swimming pool.

SWARTVLEI EQUESTRIAN ESTATE (72 %) Swartvlei stay by Liza Mcallister, South Africa 20 November 2016 A beautiful estate with rolling green lawns, surrounded by silence and gorgeous farm animals - what could be more beautiful at the end of a 10 hour drive. Just off the beaten track, yet only a 10km drive to the gorgeous town of Sedgefield. Our stay was comfortable. Gorgeous chalets with comfortable beds and full bathroom. A good soak in the bath and rejuvenating sleep. I highly recommend the breakfast, which is by far one of the best I have had anywhere (luckily my stay was brief or the bikini body workout would have to be intensified)... Swartvlei Equestrian Estate by Richard Bugan, South Africa 12 January 2017 The accommodation is neat and tidy and located in a beautiful part of the Garden Route. The staff are very friendly. However, the access roads to the Estate are horrible. You are required to travel along a 8 - 10 km long gravel road, which should probably only be done with a 4x4. I feel that this should have been mentioned on the Estate's website, which would have affected our decision to stay here. Consequently, we did not complete our stay at the Estate.
