We have four beautiful thatched chalets that are safe and very private. Each chalet has a large room with a sitting and dining area. The bathrooms have a full shower and a bath. There are many wild birds on the property, including a breeding colony of guinea fowls that visits the chalets from time to time. Enjoy a walk in the large beautiful garden set amongst indigenous plants and trees. The chalets have a beautiful view of the tree plantations that our area is well known for. We are located right beside the N2 highway, which is the main road going towards Ermelo.

AFRICAN FLAIR COUNTRY LODGE REVIEWS (88 %) Unexpected luxury by Stefan Basson, South Africa Monday, 18 July 2011 Comfortable stay, friendly hosts and fantastic breakfast. This is the way I would set up my own B&B. Nice by Francois Maurin, France Wednesday, 24 August 2011 We had a very nice stay in African Flair Country Lodge. We appreciated the comfort of the bungalows, and the overall quality of the service. Julia Macgregor, Canada 17 October 2015 Great property with a lovely garden. The chalets are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we had the pleasure of watching a yellow mongoose in the garden while we ate at our chalets dining table. Our hosts were friendly and pleasant. Not Impressed by Jean Faulkner, England 28 February 2017 Hello, We stayed at African Flair Country Lodge on 2/2/2017. I booked 2 rooms, 1 for my husband and myself, and 1 for our friends, Dave and Pauline Bennett. Our room was fine, but their room - number 3 I think, was another story. Dave had to undo the taps in the bathroom with a towel as they were that tight, there was a cobweb stretching from the toilet to the bath and the bath itself was dirty. All of this led us to believe the room hadn't been used or cleaned in a while, yet the owners surely knew we were going to arrive that day, and that both rooms were needed? As if this wasn't bad enough, on waking the next morning, they had no hot water for a shower! So, Dave went to reception, which was locked, with nobody around. He searched around for someone, and spoke to a boy who said that it would be fixed, it was probably due to the building work going on behind our rooms (another chalet was being built just behind our rooms). No-one else came to look at the problem with the water and it wasn't fixed, so they had to use our bathroom after we had finished. When we left, we intended to complain to the owners, but ,guess what, no owners around, only the kitchen maids, and it wasn't their fault. So we had to leave the keys in the box and we left. We are not impressed with the service we got, it was almost as if we didn't exist, and we wouldn't want anyone else to be treated the same way as us. AFRICAN FLAIR COUNTRY LODGE LOCATION
