Akkedisbult Cottage offers comfortable accommodation situated on a working farm, off the N12 in the Northern Cape.

The cottage consists of two bedrooms, a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area. A select DSTV is a fixture in the cottage. There is a lovely patio area and the garden is completely fenced off, making it safe for young children and pets.

With all the open space surrounding the farm, guests can enjoy long walks or mountain bike rides. The reservoir next to the cottage provides a refreshing break in summer time. There are braai facilities available with wood supplied.

Delightful comfort in the Upper Karoo by

This was a home from home in the middle of the Karoo's deafening quiet. Everything had been thought of, right down to a spare tube of tooth paste in the bathroom. A great base to bird the surrounding areas. We had a very warm welcome. Thank You! Lia Steen, Jerome Ainsley and John Drowley

Fantastic evening! by

Very easy to find. A lovely lovely cottage. It's like coming home. Very well catered for. We loved every minute. Only one thing, if you are in a car it may take a bit longer. It's a gravel road and we took an hour to travel 12km.

Lovely thunderstorm by

Great accomodation, lovely cottage, lovely hosts, the best "stoep". We had a great stay, wish we could have lingered longer and there was a beautiful rainstorm while we were there.

Amazing place to feel Karoo?s great nature by

We visited the lodge for 3 nights on the Easter Holidays, looking for tranquility away from JoBurg. This lodge had everything what we needed - friendly host/hostess, clean and neat houses with beautiful garden where our daughter and dogs can run around, stunning Karoo scenery, fresh milk and delicious Karoo lamb. Nici and Gerald were so kind and they even took us to the farm tour. We enjoyed hunting real eggs for Easter. Really amazing place to stay and we will definitely come back!
