Al Johari

Al Johari is a small boutique hotel combining two old buildings, situated in Stone Town. We have striven to produce a unique hotel while keeping within the architecture and dimensions of Stone Town's history.

We offer 15 rooms in total, each with marble flooring and Persian rugs. The rooms are climate controlled and equipped with flat-screen TVs, mosquito nets, hair dryers and toiletries. There is free Wi-Fi access in all the rooms and throughout the hotel.

The Fusion Lounge is probably the most fashionable bar of its kind in Stone town, offering a selection of sundowners while watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Enjoy some fun daytrips on the beautiful waters of Zanzibar or even a day of snorkelling. Visit some the secluded beaches on the smaller isles such as Prison Island, where there is a sanctuary for an endangered species of the Giant Tortoise. We can arrange all kinds of delicious picnic hampers for the day out upon request.
