Amaluti

Amaluti is simply stunning; a tasteful blend of 5 Star luxury, comfort, elegant décor, space, colour and glorious views to the Maluti Mountains.

Its special ambience is both peaceful and relaxing. The open plan design and unique frameless glass walls enhance the stunning views by bringing the outside in. It is cool in summer, warm in winter and has friendly helpful staff. Situated in the secure Clarens Golf Estate, Amaluti is an easy drive from Gauteng, Durban or Bloemfontein.

The accommodation consists of four double en-suite bedrooms; two upstairs and two down, each with its own colour scheme. The rooms have either king-size double beds or twin beds. All have luxurious linen, superbly comfortable mattresses, masses of soft pillows, down duvets, electric blankets and under-floor heating to ensure a good night's rest in even the coldest weather. The open-plan bathrooms have luxury fittings, a glass shower, a floating basin and matching ?Perfekt' bath, beautiful earth toiletries, luxurious cotton bath sheets and twin dressing gowns.

Upstairs the Loft can sleep two adults or four children. It has two three-quarter beds, a double sofa bed, its own TV and shower with basin with toilet.

The open-plan kitchen on the upper level is spacious and fitted with all that a chef could want, including a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a wine chiller, a deep freeze and fridge, a dishwasher and H2O water filter. The serving counter gives ready access to the dining table that can seat twelve. Adjacent is the bar unit.

The upstairs living area has one seating area around the gas fireplace and TV with PVR DStv and another in front of the folding glass wall, providing spectacular, uninterrupted views. Downstairs the living area has a mini kitchen, two sofas, a second TV with PVR DStv and another lovely folding glass wall opening into the garden. The whole house has under floor heating and there are two extra oil heaters.

Outside is a separate patio with veranda furniture and a gas braai. There is a double garage and covered parking for four cars. Amaluti is serviced daily by helpful and efficient Anna Mlangeni or Siena Mokoena who clean, wash up and make beds. Please note they do not cook.

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 adults and can be leased in different ways; The whole house, sleeping up to eight adults and four children, the upper level sleeping up to four adults and four children, the lower level sleeping up to four adults.

By special arrangement and especially celebratory occasions, a full English breakfast and/or dinners can be arranged with Michael Scheepers and served at Amaluti. Gavin will be delighted to assist during your stay. We regret that we do not allow smoking in the house, nor is it suitable for pets.

Clarens known as ?The Jewel of the Free State' is beautiful at any time of the year. It is charming and friendly with exciting places to visit and things to do. There is something to please everyone; spectacular sandstone scenery in and around the Golden Gate National Park 20 kms down the road, an excellent golf course and a wide range of Historic Explorations and Outdoor activities which include a Fossil sites, a Dinosaur trail, Hiking, Fishing, Horse Riding, White Water Rafting and Quad Bike Trails to name a few. There are also numerous interesting Curio and Craft shops, first class Art galleries and many good Restaurants.
