Well integrated with the natural savannah surroundings, the Angalia Tented Camp is a luxurious tented camp located in a green belt at the border of the Mikumi National Park.

Built using local material, the camp has been kept traditional with makuti roofs and tanga stone, and is a mere four hour drive from Dar es Salaam.

Accommodation is available in five spacious, and unique luxury tented chalets, each with an en-suite individual shower and bathroom, as well as a private balcony. All furniture has been made by local craftsmen using indigenous hard woods, such as mpingo ebony and mninga.

The on-site restaurant and bar offers both local Tanzanian dishes as well as international dishes, all made with fresh local ingredients. The bar offers a wide variety of hot and cold drinks.
