Anglers Rest offers accommodation in five cosy and well-appointed units. Enjoy tranquillity of the lodge after a long day of fishing along the sandy coastline of Struisbaai. Your host who is an avid fisherman, will guide you to the best fishing spots and provide bait, tackle and a boat.

The units are equipped with tea and coffee facilities, bar fridges, heaters, Wi-Fi and TVs. DStv is available but please bring your own decoder. Guest can make use of the braai area outside and enjoy drinks at the bar while overlooking the swimming pool. For fishermen, the lodge offers freezing facilities, secure parking for boats and even some tips on fishing in the area.

Struisbaai has lovely harbours and is renowned for safe swimming, diving, snorkelling and water sports such as kayaking, sailing and fishing. Dolphins, seals and whales can also be seen in season and a short 3 km drive will get guests to Cape Agulhas, Africa's southernmost tip.

We had an awesome stay. Very pleasant people!

Nice view by

We had the Yellow Tail room which had a lovely view of the sea. The rooms were a little bit tired (paintwork and furniture) and the bathroom needed some repairs. It was clean though and well equipped, good location.
