Leading out from two sliding doors, a patio complete with outdoor furniture and a built-in barbecue, lends itself to endless views over Clarens, the surrounding Rooiberg, and the distant Maluti Mountains of Lesotho.
The kitchen overlooks the living area, and is fully equipped with granite counters, an oven, glass top hob, fridge and freezer, microwave, and other appliances. From the kitchen, there is a scullery complete with dishwasher, washing machine, tumble-dryer, and washing up area.
The original nine-hole golf course has recently been developed and upgraded to an 18-hole course by developers, Pinnacle Point. The par 72 golf course has been designed and constructed by Golf Data, and all 18 holes meander along and across the tranquil river and its splendid series of trout dams and cascading waterfalls. The new Club House is well appointed and offers wonderful mountain views.
Visitors to Clarens have a variety of activities to choose from, including white water rafting, horse riding, quad biking, hiking, tennis, squash, trout fishing, art courses, golf, abseiling, mountain trails, and nature reserves which also boast bushman paintings.
