Artemis Barn Cottages is located a mere 10-minute walk from the village of Franschhoek, South Africa's food and wine capital. Enjoy the peace, magnificent mountain views and koi ponds set in an indigenous garden.

We offer two self-catering cottages where you can walk our labyrinth or just enjoy the rooms with soft murals and mosaic bathrooms. Our gardens are full of sculptures, birds, wildlife and even the occasional chameleon.

Come for a weekend or a week and enjoy the views, the peace and tranquillity. Picnic in the evening light at the top dam with exquisite views over the mountains, have a braai under the starlit sky, or just sit and relax.

The setting is wonderful and the accommodation is quirky and fun. It is perfectly clean and quite comfortable and Ingrid, who manages it is very friendly and helpful. At this price in this area I don't think you could do better
