The little village of Infanta is one of several villages that lie on the banks of the Breede River.
The flatlet has a small self-catering kitchen and is furnished with three single beds. It has a bathroom with a shower only. On the deck guests have a braai area with lovely sea views.
The rocks in the surf zone teems with aquatic life and during spring tide the pools and flat banks will keep one fascinated for hours. This exclusive and safe piece of paradise offers a myriad of outdoor activities. Infanta is one of the prime whale watching destinations and the bay is a sanctuary for a large concentration of Southern Right whales that annually come to breed and raise their calves before returning to the arctic.
The area has a moderate temperature throughout the year and offers plenty of bird species as well as a wide variety of fynbos for nature lovers. Big Dusky or Daga Cob with specimens of more than 50 kilograms are caught regularly in the river and at sea and a large variety of fish species can be found here. Guests can also visit the Agulhas National Park where the Atlantic and Indian Ocean meet, as well as the lighthouse at Cape Agulhas where 250 ships have been wrecked over time.
