We were very happy with the hotel. The service was excellent, staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and the rooms we had were spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated. We would recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation.

Dissatisfied by

I was contacted at 11am on the day of check in to be informed that the room I booked was unavailable due to broken ablution facilities. Apparently a maintenance/repair contractor could not be called in to repair. I was offered a standard room, which on arrival was not up to standard. It was musty , small and the blinds didn't even open. Fortunately for me, my sister had a booking in a family room and we had no other choice but to bunk with them. And then the issues in the family room...the TV was inaudible at times, the kettle was very dirty on inside and seemed unhygienic. We were not given enough towels on the second night and there is no one on site after hours to request anything. The garage door remote stopped working and again no one to ask for assistance. Very disappointed with Augusta Bay. It definitely spoiled our vacation. Will not recommend to anyone and I most certainly will not return. Disappointed:(
