Avolonte Lodge

Avolonte means "as much as you like", and the lodge is a place where you can enjoy the serenity and tranquility of a natural paradise. Not only is Avolonte the ideal place for a time of deep-cleansing rest, but it is also a highly sought-after hideaway for honeymoon couples and travellers en route to the Garden Route. Standard features in all our cottages include an extra length king-size bed, leather couches, double-sized baths, showers and fireplaces. Babysitting can be arranged with prior arrangement.

Avolonte Lodge is located 45 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, Table Mountain and Robben Island, Avolonte is ideally suited for a quick city breakaway or as a base from which to explore the world-renowned wine routes of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschoek. Hikers can also choose from an endless number of trails leading to the most amazing mountain pools and waterfalls.

We invite you to enjoy an afternoon tea on the verandah in one of our little thatched-roof Cape cottages, surrounded by forests and the high rises of majestic mountains.
