Babogaya Resort

Babogaya Resort is a luxury design blended into one of Bishoftu's enchanting crater lakes, with all the special glimmers of a charming resort hotel and all of the authentic gems of a genuine African escape. Babogaya Resort is known for its panoramic views, and is conveniently located in the heart of the historic Lake District, making it an ideal destination for business and leisure travellers alike. It is also only 60 minutes' drive from Addis Ababa.

The main building houses 12 luxury suites, and 8 standard suites, all elegantly furnished to make your stay luxurious. The suites have glass-window fronts, wide covered patios and are equipped with satellite TV, mini fridge, phones and full bathroom amenities. Bathrooms are equipped with tub, shower or Jacuzzi. Maid service is provided three times a day to make sure all your needs are fulfilled.

There are five additional cottages, which house 27 rooms decorated in the same illustrious fashion as the luxury suites and each with bay-style windows to give you uninterrupted view of the lake.

Endless hours of relaxation leave every traveller feeling hungry. You can stop one of the two restaurants for selections of fresh and spicy traditional dishes or international favourites. You can also enjoy fresh local fish right from the lake cooked to your liking, or take your place at the lake bar located right in front of the lake, for all day refreshment, afternoon tea and evening drinks. Begin your evening with mouthwatering finger snacks at the bar, while you sip a delicious cocktail or cold beer. Or, have room service serve you canapés on your private terrace. The lobby bar reflects the colours of Africa. This bar extends onto a terrace with views of the lake and the exuberant gardens.
