Bakenskraal Ostrich Palace

Bakenskraal Ostrich palace is a luxurious four-star guest house in Oudtshoorn situated in the heart of the Klein Karoo. Here you can enjoy the open spaces and the spectacular views of the magnificent and ever-changing purple Swartberg mountains.

The Luxury Double Twin Suite consist of a queen size bedded en-suite bedroom, accommodating two people. The bathroom is spacious with a shower and a bath. There are large windows overlooking the surrounding farmlands. Our Supreme Suite which is situated in the main house, is a luxurious and well-appointed en-suite bedroom. It is beautifully decorated to accommodate the Victorian style. The suite consist of king or twin beds, and a spacious bathroom with separate bath and shower. When decorating our beautiful family suites we focused on ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable stay without neglecting luxury touches. The Family Suites consists of two bedrooms with a king size or twin beds, a lounge area and a large en suite bathroom.

We have walking or hiking trails, jogging and a swimming pool, a tour of the private Ostrich Farm or stargazing at night done by a registered guide.
