Balule Bush Lodge is nestled at the foot of the majestic Magaliesberg Mountain. Only half an hours' drive from Johannesburg the lodge offers breathtaking beauty of the bushveld with the mountain as backdrop. Balule Bush Lodge is the place where you can escape from the hectic city life and recharge your batteries.

We offer fully equipped self-catering chalets and a swimming pool. Bring your family and relax while you watch the sunset and the birds from your own patio. You can also get drinks from our fully licensed pub and enjoy it on the deck overlooking the dam. The kids can play volley ball, swim or try the mountain bike tracks. Discover the bushveld on foot.

Please note that the rates are subject to the number of guests staying, hence we advise guests to request the appropriate tariffs. The R24 info centre on our premises will also provide you with fun activities to do in a radius of 45 km.

My friends and our children had a wonderful, fun-filled time at Balule. No TV, just laughter and "catch-up" sessions with the ladies. The lodge is peaceful and chalets were very clean and neat.
