Banana Divers is a new scuba diving resort located on Banana Island, in Sierra Leone. The resort borders the forest and the beach, so guests can enjoy best of both.
There is a scuba diving center and a beachfront guest house with eight rooms available, as well as a restaurant and a bar. The restaurant always has fresh fish and crab on the menu. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms and there are communal ablution facilities with hot water for all guests. All the beds have fresh linen and mosquito nets.
The small resort offers a wide variety of activities other than scuba diving; such as fishing, snorkelling trips, guided forest walks as well as historical- and cultural tours. Banana Island is a tropical paradise situated 40 km away from Freetown. The island is blessed with lush forests and a constant sea breeze, a haven of tranquillity.
There are seven boats, a filling station on-site and a PADI professional diving instructor for a great diving experience to beginners and certified divers. The shallow-house reefs make a perfect base for non-divers to have a taste of scuba diving. The challenging dive sites can be reached by boat for the experienced divers.
