Bergvallei is situated only 1 km from Silverstar Casino and Cradlestone Mall. Bergvallei is situated close to the Ruimsig Sports Stadium and 1km from the Pinehaven Netcare Hospital. We are also near the newly opened Happy Island Waterword!


Bergvallei Estates offers comfortable accommodation and a beautiful wedding venue. The estate is located near Krugersdorp, just off the main N14. The accommodation is ideal for wedding parties and couples.


The spacious rooms all feature comfortable beds and have tea and coffee-making facilities. There are no TVs available to ensure a quiet and peaceful stay. We provide bedding and some of the rooms have doors leading out a veranda and into the garden. Most of the rooms look out over the large lawn which leads down to the Crocodile River that runs through the bottom part of the property.

Guest can enjoy relaxing on the property or take a short drive to the nearby towns where guests can enjoy many activities. Breakfast is not included in the accommodation. There are many restaurants in the area, as well as the Silver Star Casino, Cradlestone Mall and the Ruimsig Stadium which is 1 km away.

Very disappointing by

Looking at the pictures of Bergvallei Estate on your website we thought it would be great to stay at. We were extremely disappointed upon arrival with the lack of maintenance to the property.it has not been looked after and is in no way a venue I would recommend to anyone. I do however have to mention that it our room was very clean!

thank you, it was lovely to stay there. however it will be nice if there is a small table to eat, and a small fridge for cold drinks and fresh milk , and a couch, ex. otherwise we enjoyed our stay. thank you

Overnight stay by

The staff are very friendly., we could even check in an hour early. The room had a bath and shower this was a plus 2nd time stay this is what we took notice of, There was tea and coffee with powder milk A packet of biscuits. The negative ? was as follows: 1. The front door didn't lock , only the security gate locked ( hey people we li in SA) we have to lock up all ?. 2. The toilet rolls were disgusting, cheap 2 ply that can cause infection. 3.The towels and wash cloths are terrible, the same as a few years ago , they have bad smell .not sure if it was clean , but it's cheap fabric. 4. There was slot of ents and other ? 5. No T V 6. No microwave No complimary soap and shower caps, there was however a pink liquid not sure what it was This place is ok if you just need a place to go dress up for a wedding? I don't recommend it for a long stay.

What an amazing estate, beautiful views and gorgeous rooms. Had a stunning room with all I needed to be comfortable. Thank you for your great service.

Nice stay by

Good for an over night stay. Would have liked a tv or complementary WiFi for some entertainment. Just a bit boring.

Being with my man by

1. The room was not clean especially the shower (floor) & the balcony(the chairs were filthy);
2. The noise after 22:00 was unbearable. Followed by the thick smoke of cigarettes;
3. Bedding/linen/blankets were not clean. It had Caucasian hair and was stuffy;
4. Security guards work under unfavourable conditions in the evening. Recommendations-a comfortable work station should be provided- ensuring that the guards have a dignified space to serve from. With options of refreshments,protective clothing and shelter amongst others;
5. The establishment should consider installing a landline so that clients can be able to reach them directly;

Establishments response:

This guest apologized to the cleaning staff on the morning of her departure when handing the room keys to her, for the mess that SHE had made in the room. After her departure, the curtains had to be taken down to be washed and the marks left on the white towels was nearly impossible to remove. It seems that her review of the state of the room is not about the clean state that she had found the room in, but the state that she had left the room in.

The fact that it was close to silver star by

Your facility is really run down. Doors don't close properly, the lighting in the rooms is garden/outside lighting. There were no basics like a tv , the toilet ran all night

Was good enough for the nigh't stay by

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately other guests were very noisy until about 2 am!
