Blue Crane Farm is a holiday destination for anyone with a love for nature. The farm is situated approximately 10 minutes' drive from the well-known fly fishing destination of Dullstroom with all its amenities, shops, restaurants and attractions.
The accommodation comprises of four units, three six-sleepers and one four-sleeper. All the units feature fully equipped kitchens, living rooms with fireplaces and DStv, as well as patios with braai facilities. The venue offers beautiful scenery with free roaming game species such as Springbuck, Blesbuck, Zebra, Hartebeest and Vaal Rhebuck. We offer guests the chance to hike or cycle on well kept paths on the farm.
The farm boasts two beautiful dams where guests can enjoy fly fishing. Both dams are stocked with rainbow and brown trout. Bird watching is also a very popular activity on the farm due to the big variety of land and water bird species that visit. Endangered bird species such as the Crowned Crane and Blue Crane can also be spotted and we have a Blue Crane breeding pair that recently nested on one of the islands in the big dam.
