Good view by

Very friendly & clean, comfortable bed & a very good view,

A wonderful return to Africa by

We had a wonderful time at Bluebottle. It was my first trip back to Africa for 14 years and I had always wanted to visit South Africa but circumstances prevented me. The warm welcome great hospitality and lovely atmosphere really made us feel at home and reminded me of the African generousity and friendship I had experienced before. The position of the Guest House was amazing and by the end of the stay I felt a lot fitter after conquering the steps up to the accommodation.!!I really hope to return before too long. Thank you for all you did to make our stay so happy.

Killer stairs by

The 120 odd stairs 4 houses up to get to the establishment is a killer. The room is mediocre at its best, with curtains that do not close all the way. In this modern era visitors require 2 bed sheets for hygiene and comfort - a single sheet covering the mattress only is below tourism standards. The saying "getting between the sheets" has a meaning! Leaving one's vehicle down below in the street adds to the overall feeling of mediocre and discomfort.

The lovely environment and service by

It was an absolutely wonderful experience to stay at the Bluebottle Guest House in Muizenburg. The room was absoluely beautiful and the hostess was so freindly, warm and welcoming. The outdoor balcony and view was also lovely and the breakfast in the morning was top class. 5 stars!!!

Bluebottle Review by

I would have liked to know that i do not have a bathroom in my room - but because the guest house wasn't so busy i was okay with that. Other than that, i loved the place. Great service.

The stairs! by

We booked 3 rooms for a Friday and Saturday night. Rooms were big and comfortable, decor was so interesting, quite a few pieces I would have loved for mu own home. The highlites were the mosaic decor on the steps and the views, plus the charm of Andrew, Taryn and Dee!
