Bokmakierie Garden Cottage

Bokmakierie Garden Cottage is named after the Bush Shrike, which in Afrikaans vernacular is ?Bokmakierie', a native bird to this area. The cottage is situated in the quiet suburb of Lower Old Place, a mere 2 km from town, and close to the Knysna Lagoon. It is close to a local pub, a restaurant, a convenience store, the Loerie Park Sports Field, and the African Crafts Market.

This semi-detached self-catering cottage can comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of two guests and comprises one bedroom, an open-plan lounge and kitchen area, and a patio. The bedroom features twin single beds.

The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and includes a fridge, two-plate stove, microwave, electric kettle and a toaster. The lounge is furnished with beautiful antique furniture and artworks by local artists. For entertainment, there is an old television with local channels, a radio, and Wi-Fi internet access.

The living area leads via large sliding doors to a spacious north-facing sunny patio and a private enclosed garden. Off-street parking is provided.
