Each suite is equipped with DStv sport and movie channels, a fridge, coffee facilities, fitted heaters and fans. Double doors lead from each suite onto covered veranda. Inside the house is a communal lounge with fireplace leading out onto a wooden deck and garden.

The guest house is centrally situated on the main street, with safe off-road parking provided. Uniondale offers a few good restaurants offering lunch and dinner. There are also beautiful historical buildings, including the old watermill and Bon Accord Hall adjacent to the guest house, which was the old movie theatre and is a must-see.

We enjoyed our stay there, The owner was friendly and helpful. The evening meal she recommended was very good but expensive. Furthermore we had to pay in cash. Our overnight stay in Uniondale was well worthwhile.

Charlene is a charming and enthusiastic host, room comfortable and well furnished. The attached gallery and coffee shop, housed in the original"Cinema" building, is a must for a browse. We would certainly make this establishment a stop over in future.
