MARLOTH PARK BONA NGWENYA LODGE REVIEWS (97 %) Excellent! by Eunice Henrico, South Africa 06 January 2015 We had a wonderful time staying at Bona Ngwenya. The private viewing deck was an absolute luxury for relaxing and enjoying the animals and Kruger Park view in your pj's with coffee and binoculars! Feeding the bush babies was such a treat to experience. The outside and inside is fully equipped and a great bush getaway I will definitely recommend and revisit again! Wonderful stay at Marloth Park Bona Ngwenya by Johann Havenga, South Africa 02 February 2015 We had a wonderful stay. The lodge is well equipped and the air-conditioners and fans everywhere cooled us down in the January heat. Kids loved the pool. The lodge is built in the bush so you feel very much part of nature. The lookout point gives you the best view of the river in Marloth and we had great game sightings. Overall a great experience and we look forward to going again. Hospitality and quality of resort by Kevin Thomson 06 January 2018 Beautiful resort , peace and quiet and lovely views . Would definitely recommend it to others . Viewing tower by Pieter Du Plooy 15 January 2018 This unit is very comfortable and has most things that one would need to have a comfortable stay. It has all the mod con's that one would need and Dennis and Inge are very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The pool was clean and the garden well looked after.
Inge spoiled us with some of her favourite recipes and we had to stop her as we would not get through our own food stocks.
The only negative aspects in my view was that the loft room does not have a bathroom / toilet, however we knew of this when we made the reservation. Also the boma area needs some work as it is too small and the braai facilities need some attention. While we were there Dennis had already started making plans with a contractor to improve on this.
All in all we had a good time and some great hippo and elephant sightings from the viewing tower.
Regards Great getaway! by Miguel Dos Santos 08 July 2018 We had a fantastic time staying at Bona Ngwenya. All the comforts of home with the bonus of being in the bushveld. Inga and her husband went out of their way to make us feel at home. The crocodile bridge gate is about 20min from the house and we made dayly trips to the park. The viewing deck is also fantastic and most days we saw hippo and buck. One lucky day we saw some cheetah. I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a place to stay near the Kruger park. Family Holiday by Julian Kingsland-bonshor 17 July 2018 Fantastic house and the owners deserve great praise for what they have done, the house is beautiful and photos do not do it justice as better in real life.
Denis and Inge are very caring people and nothing is too much for them, Inge always on the go putting little treats out and doing the Braai etc.
My family and I had a wonderful time here and are booking again for next year cannot wait it is that good
Wildlife on your doorstep as we saw elephants, hippos, lions, buffalo all from the viewing platform and thats not counting birds etc. thanks for LOVELY TIME.... Watching a herd of elephants and hearing the lions at night by Alan Tatton 18 September 2018 We were made to feel so welcome at the lodge. Everything you could need was supplied with a smile.
The location and viewing platform must rate as the best in the park. Only wish we could have stayed longer. MARLOTH PARK BONA NGWENYA LODGE LOCATION
