Bougain-Villa is run by Esme and John Classens who welcome their guests into their wonderfully restored home. They offer standard accommodation as well as some wonderful packages that include tours of the area lead by John himself.
There are two en-suite bedrooms with double beds. They have separate entrances and are equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities with rusks and TVs with satellite channels. The rooms have fans for the hot summer months and electric blankets for the chilly winter evenings. There is one room with twin beds and another room with a queen-size bed that share a bathroom across the passage.
While the guest house does not offer meals, Esme and John are happy to recommend some wonderful local restaurants. John is an accredited tour guide and offers a host of day trips. John's 'donkey', his vehicle, can take you to the Cango Caves, Gamkapoort Dam or along the Swartberg Pass. He has excellent knowledge of the area and many stories for along the ride.
