Bougainvilliers is a charming self-catering house situated in the small town of Grand Gaube, in the northern part of Mauritius. It is set right on the beach, with a lush garden and lovely views of the Indian Ocean.The beach house features three air-conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-plan living area and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a sunny deck area with garden chairs and a swimming pool.We have a friendly cleaning lady named Marie Ange that comes in every day to clean and iron. She is also available for cooking delicious Mauritian dishes on request, sourcing the ingredients herself.Bring your own equipment for sea kayaking or kite surfing, or surf the free Wi-Fi connection. 2 Bicycles available for guests to use.

A view to live for by

With a view to live for and close proximity to the ocean this venue is a place of dreams. You walk out of the house across the pool deck, past the pool over a small lawn and then you are standing with your feet in the ocean.
The gardens and pool are well maintained, by a daily gardener. The interior is kept perfect by a cleaner who also doubles as your own personal cook who will go to the market for you and cook at your request.
Off the beaten track, this little gem is worth a repeat visit. I do recommend renting a vehicle as it is quite a walk into town. There is a bus stop a few hundred meters from the house and there are two bicycles for your use but your own vehicle makes things easier.
My favorite will always be the view of the ocean while lounging in the pool, as well as the fact that you can view both the Mauritian sunset and sunrise at your doorstep.
