Set on two acres of land in peaceful Mount Pleasant, Bowood Lodge offers tranquil and superior bed and breakfast accommodation to business and tourist travellers alike. It is the ideal base for relaxation after a day of work, or from which to plan your holiday.

We have five rooms which have been decorated individually. The Blue Room has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom; the Green Room has twin beds and a shared bathroom; the Orange Room has a twin beds with an en suite bathroom; the Rose Room has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower; and lastly The Study has twin beds and a shared bathroom. All rooms have Wi-Fi Internet, fans and lovely views of the swimming pool and garden.

We hope that the ambiance will help you to unwind after the stresses of the day. Guests are free to simply relax in the entirely private and secure grounds or to enjoy the swimming pool and tennis court.

Lovely place for a stop over, We were driving from RSA to Zambia via Harare. The lady received us at about 12 midnight as we were lost in Zimbabwe. The warm welcome and the kindness that we experience was appreciated. The next day, in the morning we got full breakfast. The service was great. The rooms had nets and insect repellant spray. I did not have to use my own.



We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. The staff were helpful and polite. The location is good, near amenities and not far from the city centre and the airport.
