With the fireplace and warm atmosphere, it took all of our winter blues away. Thank you and we will see you again. Great by Jurgen Briegel, South Africa 22 August 2011 We really enjoyed our weekend; a great getaway and recuperation from daily stress and rush. The highlight of the cottage is the fireplace. The cottage is small and cosy with everything one needs for a couple. Small kids may make it a bit stressfull with the steps and once you get far beyond the 60's those stairs may also become a hinderness. For any in-betweens it is a lovely retreat and, being in the quaint historic town of Stanford, makes it all the more interesting. We will definitely try a repeat visit sometime. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. And really great hosts - thank you Bea!
