Tucked away in the indigenous bushveld of the Mpumalanga Province is Bundu Bushveld Retreat. It is an architect designed, thatched roof dwelling situated in a popular holiday village in close proximity to Loskop Dam. The village comprises a 1000-hectare game farm with game, roaming freely between the properties. There is also a Matkovich and Hayes developed nine-hole golf course in the village. Other activities include 4x4 routes and hiking trails. The dwelling comprises three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have private en-suite outside showers. There is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator, and freezer. The kitchen also has a scullery and pantry. The lounge leads onto a deck with a spa pool and boma. The deck leads onto a large lapa with a built-in braai.

Bundu Bushveld Retreat by Lucas Van Der Merwe, South Africa 15 October 2012 It was really a pleasure staying there, I would recommend it to anyone, and not even to mention that it is affordable! You guys will see us again very soon! Thank you. Beautiful, well equipped, but too hot! by Andri Steyn, South Africa 31 October 2016 House is very beautiful and has all you need for a nice relaxing holiday. The only set back was that it was extremely hot, and we couldn't open the windows because of the great amount of mosquitoes. I strongly suggest that ceiling fans be installed, at least in the bedrooms!!! Bush retreat by Alfred Shangase 16 October 2017 The place was not confortable at all. The base matrass was falling off, the Head board was loose.
The street number is not visible, arriving at night we spent 45minutes looking for the number. Calling the provided contact numbers for not help as there was no answer. There were no towels.
In short I will never use this facility again. It was not value for my money.
Regards Alfred Satisfaction by Lizelle Mallo 30 September 2018 We love the house. Spacious neat and well kept. Lovely surroundings. Will definitely visit again. Great Place loved it by Reinier Geel 05 November 2018 The only real problem that should be sorted out is the beds, I travel lots, these were the worst beds in this price class I have ever slept on and all my guests agree, we had no sleep, as the beds were very hard, very old, the kids had to sleep on a sponge mattress??? our bed was very very old and very hard... very disappointing for the price you pay...
Then finding the key was really not professional, the collection point has no house number, we had to ask around...
1-in 4 globes worked
Ok on the positive side, the place was massive, the rooms were clean... and the house is well designed for large groups, a very nice place for a get-together
The dishwasher was a bonus
I would use this place again if the invest in the above issues to get them sorted out BUNDU BUSHVELD RETREAT LOCATION
