Bushman's BaobabLiwonde National Park, , Malawi Lodge from R 100 (family units from R 3,230) | R 100 |
Bushman's Baobab is situated on the junction of the Shire River and the southern boundary stream of Liwonde National Park. The symphony of hippopotamus calls will serenade you through the night and mornings are broken with the calls of the multitude of birds that have happily adopted Bushman's Baobab.
Set in a beautiful grove of ancient baobabs, the lodge shelters beneath the great boughs of these elephantine trees. Guests have a choice of staying in Chalets, tents, Dorms or in the Campsites. The Chalets and Luxury Tents offer double or single beds and each has a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. We provide tea and coffee facilities. The Dorms and A-frame Tents offer single beds and share the communal ablution facilities with the Campsites. The Campsites are located in a large, open area and each site has a braai area.
Please note there is no electricity and lamps provide the lighting. Except for the Campsites, all units have gas, lamps and candles. Guests can enjoy their meals at the restaurant, have a drink at the bar and make use of the laundry facilities.
