Camilla House is a charming B&B in Shela village on Lamu Island. Situated in front of the old harbour and the fisherman's beach, it is the ideal retreat for those who are looking for something different from the touristic resorts.

The house has three bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. It is furnished with old antiques in the authentic Swahili style. A large terrace, which overlooks the front beach and the old mosque, is the ideal place to enjoy meals. Lunch and dinner can be arranged with the cook/housekeeper, who is always available for guests. For safety there is an electric fence around the garden, as well as a guard that monitors the property.

Shela is home to the most spectacular beaches on Lamu Island. The house is very close to curio shops and many restaurants.
