Cas Da Willa LodgeKathu, Northern Cape, South Africa Lodge | (POA) |
Cas Da Willa Lodge is a 15-hectare farm located in Kathu, "the village under the trees," in the Northern Cape, the country's largest province with the smallest population. There are many amenities available and are ideal for families, friends, conferences, seminars or weddings.
Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, air-conditioning, a bar fridge, DStv (hotel suite) and tea- and coffee-making facilities. We have braai areas inside and outside and there are amenities in the huge garden. There is a swimming pool, a splash pool for children, darts, a pool table and table tennis. It is extremely safe for those who want to jog, cycle or just walk.
We serve breakfast and dinner daily in the dining room. Take-away meals for breakfast and lunch are also available.
Furthermore, there are two fully licensed pubs, a large wedding venue with an outdoor chapel. We have a well-equipped conference room with facilities such as a data projector, screens, sound system, etc. There is also everything you would need for birthday parties, annual and themed dances, matric farewells and many measures and we can also provide catering. For any of your special events or large bookings, please inquire about our special discounted rates.
Guests can be assured of peaceful, comfortable, quiet accommodation, a true rural lifestyle in a tranquil environment. We truly provide a home where you will feel as at home as at your own home. Our regular visitors have christened us as the "hidden gem of Kathu" and most of our marketing over the past ten years has been through former guests' retelling.
We are only 6.2 kilometres from the Shishen Golf Course which is rated as one of the top 20 golf courses in South Africa. It is home to the Kalahari Classic every year as part of the Vodacom SA Tour. One of the only two remaining Akasia forests is also part of the golf course. The second is in Namibia. An unforgettable golf experience!
Kathu is a great base from which to explore the Kalahari. Visit Kuruman, the Miracle Caves, Bushman's Gate or Moffat Mission. It is also the ideal overnight stop for guests on the way to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Augrabies Falls, Namibia and Namaqualand, known for its wildflowers that form a rug each year.
We also have a lot of small game around the lodge such as birds, meerkats, red mule dogs and turtles. The Northern Cape is fast becoming a popular tourist destination. Avoid the crowds and come and enjoy something else.
