Casa del Mar Hotel Jambiani

Casa del Mar is a small hotel with a cosy family atmosphere, situated in the small fisherman's' village of Jambiani, stretched along the south-east coast of Zanzibar, where the landscape is dominated by fine, white sand beaches, palm trees, and the livelihood of an African village.

Our 14 rooms are located in two buildings. Twelve rooms have sea view and two have garden view. All rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with East African art and furniture created from eco-friendly local materials. Casa del Mar also offers laundry services, room service, and 24-hour taxi services. Since the year 2009, Casa del Mar is one of only two hotels in Jambiani that offers guests a refreshing swimming pool, with a depth of 1.70 m. The tidal situation in Jambiani allows guests to walk out to the beautiful lagoon.

Our circular-shaped, open restaurant is located directly on the beach, and offers excellent traditional Zanzibari, Mediterranean and international dishes. Hotel guests can enjoy freshly caught fish, meats, vegetarian dishes, and exotic desserts all at reasonable prices. In the early morning, you can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace, and watch the sunlight sparkling on the surface the Indian Ocean.
