Cedarwood Cottage is situated in the picturesque Champagne Valley in the Central Drakensberg. It is a cosy self-catering cottage located in a tranquil setting with magnificent views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. The fully equipped cottage offers four bedrooms sleeping eight people, two rooms with queen beds and an en-suite shower and a toilet, and two rooms with two single beds in each and a bathroom with a bath and a toilet. The cottage is fully furnished with a fridge, a stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a TV with a DStv decoder. Levy charge for the use of the decoder is R30 per day.
Please note that due to its position and use of the eco-friendly septic tank waste system, the cottage is likely to drain much slower than it would at your own home.
There is a braai situated under a covered wooden deck overlooking the beautiful Drakensberg Mountains. We are located within easy access to all amenities and activities in the area which includes a unique shopping experience at Cedarwood Shopping Centre, fine hotels, golf, tennis, squash, bird watching, quad biking, fishing, horse riding, the Adventure Centre, Drakensberg Canopy Tours, and concerts at the Drakensberg Boys Choir, plus loads more.
The cottage is only a four-hour drive from Johannesburg and two hours from Durban, making it ideal for a weekend getaway or a longer, more leisurely stay.
As we are out in the countryside, there are no high fences, no barbwire and no security gates.
