We had a wonderful stay and the service was superb as well as the place - it was more than perfect

This lodge was incredible, from the comfort & decor in both the rooms and common areas, to the amazingly friendly staff & management, to it's perfect location. In addition it was an amazing value, and expect to be catered to quite nicely! There is nothing I would change about my experience here, and tell Conrad the manager that Barry says hi!

Wish we could have stayed longer! We rented the self-catering cottage but also enjoyed a meal at the restaurant. (Some of the food was very good, and some was just so-so, but they were very good at accommodating dietary needs.)

There were four of us -- a mix of family and friends, Americans and South Africans -- and the place was great for us. Jacques, the manager was available and friendly from the minute we got there. All the staff, in fact, were exceptional -- friendly, chatty, and warm.

We went on a sunset safari drive and a day-long safari drive with Lion (the tour guide), who was exceptional. He raced us through the Kruger after hearing a tip from another tour guide to be sure we got to see a lion sleeping over a recently-killed buffalo -- extraordinary! He was very good at spotting animals and knowledgable about them. We saw all of the big 5 except the leopard. We were more than happy with our trip. 


Amazing place to stay by

Cozy place with friendly staff, making our stay very comfortable. The food was extremely delicious, though we couldn't finish the meals most of the time since the portions were huge. Not the cheapest place but great value for money. Would book again without hesitation.
