Crooked Cabin and the Snuggle Inn is situated in St Helena Bay along the West Coast; a special place with a beauty of its own. St Helena Bay is 20 minutes' drive from the famous fishing village in Paternoster and one and a half hours' drive from Cape Town.
Crooked Cabin is a fully furnished wooden cabin which sleeps six people. It consists of three bedrooms; two rooms with double beds and one room with two single beds. All bedrooms have mosquito nets, fans and plenty of cupboard space. The bathroom features a large corner bath and shower, with dimmer lights and candles for those who prefer a bit of romanticism. All linen is provided including towels for pool and Jacuzzi usage.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with an eight-seater table. The open-plan living area has a Jetmaster fireplace for those chilly winter evenings, and wood is provided for guests' use. The living area opens out onto a large entertainment deck with built-in braai and Jacuzzi. From the deck you can enjoy stunning views of the blue bay, harbour and sunset.
A maid service is available three times a week for long stays. Swimming pool facilities are available at Crooked Cabin, which is totally private for staying guests only. (unfortunately the pool is now closed due to water restrictions, but will be open over the peak season, 15th December to 15th January) The Jacuzzi's are still running.
Guests can also stay in the Snuggle Inn which consists of two bedrooms with double beds and wall-mounted fans. The rooms share the use of a bathroom with a shower and all towels are provided. Guests please need to bring their own beach towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and microwave as well as an antique Dover stove. Tea and coffee facilities as well as wood are provided and guests can relax in front of the fireplace or TV with full DStv.
