The cozy Damhuis perches on the edge of the farm dam and is a rustic, one-room cottage with a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. The Damhuis sleeps guests in single beds and has a wooden deck with braai facilities overhanging the water. With its no-nonsense atmosphere, the cottage is ideal for informal, water-loving family get-aways. Please note that use is made of solar light, warm water is available for showering and a gas hob and fridge can be used - no electricity.

DAMHUIS REVIEWS (92 %) Amazing escape from everything! by Emma Bone 20 November 2017 My partner and I loved the isolation of the cabin, it was so quiet and secluded and peaceful. While water levels are low, we still managed to paddle across the dam in skis (provided). We braaied both nights, drank rum and played chess. Perfect break from the business of life. It's a great break away from home. We've never experience a farm stay before and the picking of the fruit was the ultimate highlight. We will definitely be visiting again and will recommend it to everyone.
